Spend two days exploring the “Spirit of the Points” with Heiner Fruehauf and Judy Worsley. During this two-day discussion, Heiner and Judy will focus on the Officials of the Heart and Small Intestine and briefly touch on some points on the corresponding meridians.
Judy Worsley began studying with her husband, J.R. Worsley, in 1973 and worked closely with him until his death in 2003. She has dedicated her life to Worsley Five-Element Acupuncture (WF-EA) which is truly a way of life. The Spirit of the Points is essential to the practice of WF-EA. During these two days, she will share her profound clinical understanding of the featured points with you.
Heiner Fruehauf has studied East Asian Civilizations and Chinese Medicine for over 30 years. Having spent numerous years in China studying in both institutional settings as well as with specific lineage teachers, he brought this knowledge back to the United States to revitalize Classical Chinese Medicine. During this program, Heiner will share his some of his research, knowledge of Classical Chinese, and passion for understanding the characters and the points.
Appreciation of the Spirit of each acupuncture point requires exploring the Chinese characters, their translations, and the cultural context. During this program, Judy and Heiner will engage in dialogue which will help deepen our understanding of the points and thereby enrich our practice of this profoundly beautiful medicine.
The course will be held in downtown Portland, OR. at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
During the live presentation there will also be a Live Webinar which you are welcome to register for if you’re not able to attend in person. For time zones that make attending the webinar live inconvenient the course will be recorded and available for 1 month after the course.
