Leadership in Training (LIT)

“The greatest teacher is forever a humble student.”
~ Professor JR Worsley

Overview:

Leadership and service are deeply intertwined. LIT℠ is for those who aim to be leaders in their personal and professional lives, including clinical practice, classroom teaching, family life, and the wider community.

“Professor JR Worsley modelled that one of the many acts of great leadership includes the importance of a wise and clear succession plan, ensuring that the integrity of lineage content, especially at its heart and soul, endures. Inspired by this example, and as I grow closer to joining JR in the Great Beyond, it has become even more obvious that being in a bonded, committed relationship with others who share this mission brings a light more radiant than the mere sum of the individual parts.

The Worsley Institute and I have been challenged and encouraged, criticised and praised, cancelled and claimed. Our universal response has been to ‘Shine the light’, which guides, reminds, and binds us. We enjoy being together and encourage each other to shine at our best. The birth of LIT℠ resulted. This very special family genuinely welcomes others to join us in our heartfelt mission to help each other evolve and live at the highest possible level.

Thank you, Worsley Institute, for all you do so selflessly to share this light with others.”

~ JB Worsley

Some comments from LIT℠ 2025 participants:

“Appreciating the value of preparation, curiosity, and listening in various different scenarios.”

“The opportunities to join the teaching team, either in person or online, was invaluable. Being able to be behind the scenes gave me great practice, opportunity to have mistakes corrected, and to contribute.”

“Not labeling people helps my heart be more humble and open. Checking pulses against what Judy gets is helpful. Always watching diagnoses and treatment planning.”

“I had no idea what to expect from LIT℠, but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and found it invaluable in so many ways.”

“Talking through professional situations that may arise and sharing strategies to work through them in alignment with our WCF-EA™ values and principles, qualities of leadership. I always appreciate and value simply hearing Judy speak about our medicine, being an instrument of nature, and other fundamentals which are...fundamental... but incredibly deep, and I feel that her discussions through these topics strengthen and deepen my understanding of our medicine as a way of life, both professionally and personally.”
