WIT PNW℠ is delighted to announce our next intake, which commences in April 2027.

The training in the USA and China is designed for individuals with a license to practice acupuncture or who are enrolled in a school leading to licensure.
The training in the UK is a comprehensive programme leading to qualification to practise in the United Kingdom and is open to anyone interested in training.

Mission Statement

Professor JR Worsley (JR) was a devoted Master and teacher of Five-Element Acupuncture. Together with Judy Becker Worsley, he founded the Worsley Institute (WI)TM to protect the purity of the lineage bestowed on him by his teachers in Taiwan, Singapore and Korea. WI has the sole authority to present the authentic and original JR Worsley programme, with exclusive access to recordings of JR in class and clinic.
It was JR’s wish that the lineage, which he also referred to as “A Way of Life”, be continued exactly as he taught it. He held fast to that dedication and inspired thousands of students around the world for nearly 50 years, from 1956 until his death in 2003.
In a world where many are searching for meaning and connection, WITM continues this dedication to preserving and promoting this system of medicine, which has its roots in Natural Law. This program is designed to convey and nurture the importance of our relationship with Nature, Self and Spirit.
We believe this program is for you if you are looking for a “Way of Life” where you enjoy the following:

- Watching and listening to the world around you
- Honing your senses
- Helping others
- Working with people in a profound way
We do not expect extensive essays on the history and theory of acupuncture or extensive online reading and research. The program, guided by Judy Worsley, is a mix of lessons, lectures, group exercises, point location practice, home study and personal reflection.
The mission of the faculty team is to preserve and promote JR’s original in-person class training in the oral tradition, staying true to the ongoing Worsley Classical Five-Element AcupunctureTM lineage. All WIT Faculty are active practitioners and have completed JR Worsley’s Teacher Training Basic and Advanced (TT)SM. They also work closely with Judy Worsley to ensure high quality in everything taught.
